The Lab
I’m Bryan P. Mayfield—a data scientist, data engineer, and pharmacist focused on 2 things: analyzing data to hopefully help people understand the world better and building software tools that hopefully help people live better. I primarily ask questions of data to satisfy my own curiosity, and I build tools that I believe are useful. I hope that these questions and tools resonate with others.
This lab is where I publish early versions of my interactive data analyses, share methodologies, and experiment with new approaches. It’s the working space behind more polished pieces that will eventually live on the main site.
